ASOS Shoot!
When I first got asked or more, when I first looked at the photographic requirements for ASOS marketplace and Chictopia, I gulped a bit!
Its took me a long time to get to grips with artificial light and mixing that and ambient and so I thought...oh...I cant get really creative, but then I thought..what an idiot!
Natural light, all outside, all about the clothes in a street environment, cant get any easier and quicker to shoo than this!!
Before I mention who was involved its worth remembering that as photographers, we are constantly learning and striving for technical and aesthetic perfection in our work and so are sometimes blinkered in our quest in going forward.
This shoot brought it all back to me, the whole joy of taking photographs and working with what we have.
Sometimes, going back to basics is as much going forward than anything else we try.
So back to the good stuff!
Ella Myles and Lindsey Roberts from Corina Corina and BE Gorgeous got in touch ( not that we aren't pretty much all the time anyway! ) to get a load of clothes taken and ready to go ono the ever so popular ASOS sites.
So with 2 cars full of clothes and accessories and the fab models Rebecca Allsop,Becky Francis aka Taylor Maid and Joanne Ostrowska, we got to the most fluid shoot ever, with models and clothes been swopped at lightening pace!
I used outside the studio and behind the studio and in some cases we used the contrasting location with the outfits for a little more wow!
So, a bit image heavy but I wanted to show a fair few off!
